GrizzlyTech Hold First District Wide STEAM FAIR

This past weekend, our robotics team, GrizzlyTech, had the incredible opportunity to participate in our district’s annual STEAM Fair—a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The event brought together students, educators, and industry leaders for an unforgettable day of hands-on learning, creativity, and inspiration.

Hands-On Activities & Challenges

From young innovators to experienced engineers, the fair had something for everyone! One of the most exciting activities was the Paper Airplane Challenge, where participants competed to design and launch the most aerodynamic plane. Whether aiming for distance, accuracy, or style, students tested their engineering skills in a fun and competitive way.

Other interactive stations included:
✅ Robotics Demos – Showcasing autonomous navigation, AI-powered robots, and mechanical design.
✅ 3D Printing & CAD Workshop – Exploring digital design and rapid prototyping.
✅ STEM Escape Room – Solving engineering puzzles under a time limit.
✅ Circuit Building & Coding Challenges – Hands-on learning with microcontrollers and logic puzzles.

Industry Leaders & Cutting-Edge Demonstrations

We were thrilled to have industry giants like Northrop Grumman and Tesla at the event, bringing real-world STEM applications to life!
🚀 Northrop Grumman presented a demo on aerospace technology, showcasing drone engineering and flight mechanics, inspiring students to explore careers in aviation and defense.
⚡ Tesla amazed the crowd with its electric vehicle technology, sharing insights into sustainable energy, autonomous driving, and the future of transportation.

Additionally, local colleges, tech companies, and engineering firms hosted booths where students could learn about career pathways, internships, and emerging STEM fields.

GrizzlyTech’s Impact

As a leading robotics team, GrizzlyTech proudly demonstrated our latest projects, answered questions about FTC robotics, and shared our passion for engineering and innovation. We also provided guidance to younger students interested in joining FIRST Robotics, helping to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and tech leaders.
